Music Inspiration for Conjurer King

With the release of Conjurer King this week, the series is now complete. It broke my heart to finish it, but I felt Conjurer King was the ending that the series, and Blake, deserved. Each and every character has a piece of my heart and always will. You can find my Amazon page below with links to each of the books. The first book, Finding Obscurity, is currently FREE!

For now, though, I want to talk about music.

Music is a big inspiration to me. When I write, I listen to music incessantly. I guess you could call it my muse. As I wrote Conjurer King, these songs stood out the most. (Even though I have about 75 songs listed!) They may have been for certain scenes in the book, or for the entire thing. Keep in mind that some of these lyrics may have strong language, and in some cases, the music that may not suite your tastes as mine is eclectic. Either way, happy listening!

“Centuries” Fall Out Boy

“Shake it Out” Florence & The Machine

“King Nothing” Metallica

“Shatter Me” Featuring Lzzy Hale – Lindsey Stirling

“Poison & Wine” The Civil Wars

“Dark On Me” Starset

“I’ll Follow You” Shinedown

“The Mess I Made” Parachute

“Monster” Paramore

“Holes Inside” Joe Brooks

“Hail to the King” Avenged Sevenfold

“Through the Ghost” Shinedown

“The Words” Christina Perri
